Real Club Celta has earned a point (2-2) in the visit of UD Almeria to Abanca Balaídos. The Andalusian team took the lead on two occasions but the good work of Carvalhal’s men signed the draw.
Sefe, in the 10th minute, neutralized Babic’s goal after three minutes. From that moment on, the sky blues looked for the victory but again Puigmal put Almería ahead.
Before the break Carles Pérez put the definitive tie at two goals. In the second half the Celtic team did not lower their arms but could not do anything against Almeria.
Next Friday, RC Celta will visit Sevilla at the Sánchez Pizjuán.
