About RC Celta Group

RC Celta Group especializes in improving and expanding its business overseas, building strong and true relashonships based on experience and excelence, separating ourserlves from our competitors and generating a positive impact in society in general.

RC Celta

Our main activity is the participation in professional sports competitions, in the sports discipline of football. Our first team competes in the top tier of Spanish football and in the Copa del Rey. Our B team, Celta B, competes 1RFEF and Celta C team in the Regional Preferente division.

Other activies include retail and sporting goods business through our official RCCelta stores.

Fundación Celta

The main activities carried out by Fundación Celta are to promote grassroots football and sports, carrying out campus, schools and clinics for youngsters, mainly oriented towards practice of football. Also, another key role is to promote the values of sport, as well as conferences and lectures on its importance in society, to organise different recreational sports activities to encourage sports practice among people of all ages, publicise the social and sporting heritage of RC Celta , encourage citisen participation in social activities, through promotion of solidarity campaigns.

Afouteza e Corazón

The company provides physiotherapy and traumatology and other services related to sports medicine services, also, the management of certain venues (organization of corporate events , conferences , concerts ,…).

GALICIA SPORT 360, S.L.U.

Galicia Sport 360, S.L.U.  has the following main activity, among others:

  • The holding, organisation and operation of leisure and entertainment activities.

The values that identify the RC Celta Group are transparency, excellence both in sports and business, sustainability and proximity, continuously adapting to the requirements of stakeholders and trends to stay relevant amongst competing organizations.

Optimisation of resources and waste management

What differentiates us from the competition and positively reinforces our image in society in general. The Group integrates the environment into its overall management, for this we have implemented an environmental management system conforming to the ISO 14001: 20154 standard.

This optimisation in the management of resources and waste was highlighted by obtaining the Indicador Ardan Empresa Circular 2020 and 2021, for the implementation of a circular economy strategy.

Moreover, the Ciudad Deportiva Afouteza was a finalist in the XV Spanish Architecture and Urban Development Awards (BEAU) between 2018 and 2020. It was nominated for the 2022 European Union Mies van der Rohe Contemporary Architecture Award for the works concluded between October 2018 and April 2021.

By implementing different quality systems under the standard UNE EN ISO 9001:2015 certified by the accreditation body AENOR, in our customer orientation, processes, continuous improvement (in the security and facilities department and in the corporate area).

 

All this causes the dominant company to grant the Certificate of Excellence in business management Informa-el Economista year 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 and to grant us the Ardan Indicator Well Managed Company 2022

Social responsibility and business ethics

In the business world, so the RC Celta Group (EINF) Non Financial Information Statement is voluntarily formulated for each season, being the first club to formulate the EINF, with the aim of promoting transparency regarding the group’s activity and sustainability. And the criminal compliance management system is implemented under the UNE 19601:2017 standard

The RC Celta Group is firmly committed to equal opportunities in access to employment, regardless of the individual characteristics of people who opt for a job. It therefore endorses the criteria laid down in the existing legislation on the principle of equality and diversity, the practical application of which is being translated into design, implementation and monitoring of measures which have effectively contributed to the integration of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men into the day-to-day activities of the Group.

In the 2020/2021 season, the First Equality Plan of the Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D., was approved for a period of 4 years, covering from 29 June 2021 to 28 June 2025.

In the 2021/2022 season, three persons with disabilities, two men and one woman, were integrated into the work team. In addition, the Celta Integra Foundation supports young people and adults with intellectual disabilities in comprehensive training and inclusion
