The midfielder, María Calvar Rodiño (18 February 1999), is the new player confirmed for As Celtas.
Born in Moaña, María arrives to RC Celta after an outstanding sporting career in which she has played in different teams. Her career began in Bertola CF where she stayed until 2015. In the 2015/16 season, she was part of the Olivo, a team in which she would play in the promotion phase to First Division. Afterwards, he signed for Sárdoma CF in the 2016/17 season and for UD Mos in the 2020/21 season. A year later, she returned to Sárdoma CF where, in the 2021/22 season, she achieved promotion to 2nd REF. María’s talent and ability have made her stand out to the point of being recognised with the Vide Award for best player of last season.
In addition to her trajectory through different clubs, the player from Moañesa has been a player of the Galician National Team between 2013 and 2018.
Now, RC Celta incorporates her quality and commitment to the ranks of As Celtas.
