RC Celta and Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for the loan, with an option to buy, of the Asturian centre-back, Jaime Vázquez. The 18-year-old will join Celta Fortuna team.
Formed in the youth academy of Real Madrid, Jaime Vázquez stands out for his great defensive ability and his quality in handling the ball. In the 23/24 season, he signed for Oviedo Vetusta where, his great performance, has led him to play in the Second Division with the first team of the carbayones with whom he has played a total of 493 minutes in six matches. He also took part in the recent Copa del Rey tie against Real Ávila.
Jaime Vázquez’s incorporation to Celta Fortuna is a leap in quality and competitiveness for the sky blue reserve team in this second round of the competition.
