Celta and Elche CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of Álvaro Núñez, who becomes the third signing for the sky-blues in this winter transfer window. The Bilbao-born player, pending a medical examination, has signed a contract until June 2030.
A product of Athletic Club’s youth academy, he continued his development at FC Barcelona’s youth system and made his debut in the Second Division with SD Amorebieta. His strong performances led him to Elche CF, where he played a key role in their promotion to the First Division. This season, he made his LaLiga debut with the Elche side, where he has played a total of 19 matches, providing 2 assists.
