Andrei Radu has been named the Estrella Galicia MVP for the 2025–2026 season, capping off an outstanding campaign in his first year wearing the sky-blue jersey.
This puts the finishing touch on a season in which this recognition has been widely shared, as other players such as Iago Aspas, Javi Rueda, Sergio Carreira, Borja Iglesias, Carl Starfelt, Miguel Román, and Ferran Jutglà also won this award throughout the season.
The Celta goalkeeper received the trophy ahead of the season’s final match, played against Sevilla CF at Abanca Balaídos.
Andrei Radu joined Celta last summer and, with his talent and charisma, won over the entire Celta fanbase. Dedicated and committed from day one, Radu closes out the season with the most special award of all—the one bestowed by the Celta fans.
