The Galician dairy company Río de Galicia will continue for another season as Official Supplier of Celta, reinforcing its commitment to sport and nutrition through its Optimilk range. Both entities have agreed to extend their collaboration agreement for another year, continuing a relationship that brings together two Galician leaders with strong ties to the region. In addition, the partnership will also extend for another year to women’s football, maintaining its support for the As Celtas structure.
The renewal will allow Río de Galicia to maintain its presence as Celta’s Official Supplier, with visibility across different club platforms and assets. In this new stage, Optimilk takes on a particularly prominent role, highlighting a range of products made from 100% Galician ultrafiltered milk. The range includes Optimilk milk and different milkshake options, such as Optimilk PRO, with a high protein content, and Optimilk GO, a milk and oat drink designed to adapt to different moments throughout the day. With this range, Grupo Lence reinforces its commitment to innovation and to developing new ways of enjoying dairy products, while maintaining the Galician origin of its milk as a core value. For Celta, the continuation of Río de Galicia means continuing to count on the support of a company deeply connected to Galicia’s economic and productive fabric. For Grupo Lence, maintaining its relationship with the club represents a new opportunity to bring its brands closer to the Celta fanbase and continue promoting an approach to nutrition based on quality, innovation and origin.
The partnership therefore enters a new season with the aim of continuing to grow and evolve, with Optimilk as an expression of a new generation of dairy products and as a meeting point between nutrition, activity and a healthy lifestyle.
Marián Mouriño, president of Celta, highlighted the value of the agreement as “an opportunity to continue strengthening our community with Galician brands such as Leche Río. Strengthening ties with companies and projects that, like Celta, proudly carry the name of Galicia both within and beyond our borders is very important to us.” For her part, Carmen Lence, president of Grupo Lence, said that “we are delighted to continue alongside Celta for another year. For a company like ours, with more than 50 years of history and deeply rooted in Galicia, it is very important to stand alongside projects that represent our homeland. Sport also has an enormous capacity to convey values and create role models, which is why maintaining our support for As Celtas is particularly important to us. We need more women to be visible in sport and in positions of responsibility, so that girls have role models and know that they can reach those positions too. This partnership is also an opportunity to continue highlighting Optimilk, a range in which we are investing in innovation to offer new ways of enjoying dairy products and responding to the needs of today’s consumers. We are proud that Leche Río and Optimilk continue to be part of the Celta family and to share our commitment to Galicia with the club.”
