RC Celta adds experience, attacking vocation and defensive order to its defense with the arrival of wing-back Aarón Martín. The Sky-blue club and FSV Mainz 05 have reached an agreement for the lefty defender to be on loan until the end of the season. RC Celta keeps a purchase option.
Aarón Martín (Montmeló, 1997) is an experienced left-back who was formed in the youth categories of RCD Espanyol, club with which he played more than 60 matches in the First Division. In the summer of 2018 he joins German Mainz, with whom he accumulates 60 matches in the Bundesliga. Aarón won several titles with the Spanish National Team’s youth categories and was an international U-21 player.
The new sky-blue defender stands out for his offensive vocation, being part of the attacking game of his team, and for his excellent defensive rigor, which makes him a very difficult wing-back to overcome.
Aarón Martín will immediately join the training sessions of the RC Celta and will be introduced in the next days.
