Celta and the Los Sauces Educational Institution renewed the collaboration agreement that both entities have maintained since 2013 for the schooling of the club’s youth academy players.
This new agreement introduces significant developments, most notably a key step in the advancement of the Celta360 project. Los Sauces will be the institution responsible for managing the future residence for academy players, members of the Celta Academies, and international students. This facility will be located in the new Afouteza Sports City and will be a fundamental pillar for the personal and athletic development of young athletes.
The signing ceremony was attended by Celta president Marián Mouriño, who sees this agreement as an opportunity to “grow together. We are always happy to collaborate with Los Sauces, but this time even more so, as we embark on a more ambitious project like Celta360, through which we will jointly provide young people with high-quality education, both academically and in values.” Also present was José Antonio Rois, general director of Los Sauces, who, in addition to expressing pride in this renewed partnership, highlighted that the collaboration with the club “has been ongoing since 2013, and over the years we’ve seen how Celta has successfully connected the values of sport with education, ensuring high standards in both.” Luis A. Yáñez, CBRE’s Director of Sports Business Development and driving force behind the agreement, also attended, along with various representatives from the educational institution.
Thanks to this agreement, Celta’s developing players will continue to have access to quality education, while the new residence will be managed by experienced professionals, strengthening a collaboration that remains solid and ever-evolving after more than a decade.
