Work on Celta360 continues to progress at a good pace, with the construction of a Sports City that promises to be a benchmark in sport, health, education and sustainability. Carlos Cao, Celta’s director of infrastructure and institutional relations, points out that work is currently focused on the earthworks phase, which will be key to the next stages of the project. “We started in Viveiros Adoa and are continuing towards the northern area, where the new stadium will be built”, explains Cao. Although the terrain presents challenges, progress is remarkable thanks to “favourable weather conditions, which have allowed the work to advance even faster than expected“, and every step is being taken to prepare the ground for future buildings.
The first building under construction will be the mixed-use building, which will house sports facilities, a clinic, a study centre and an innovation centre. For Cao, this phase “is essential for the rest of the project to develop as planned. It is fundamental to laying the foundations for the future of Celta360“.
Finally, the infrastructure director also wanted to highlight the essential role of the collaborating companies, whose contribution has been crucial from the outset. “Working together has been decisive in meeting the project’s requirements“, says Cao.
Celta360 continues to move forward steadily, with its sights set on becoming an international model of innovation and sustainability. A project that benefits not only the club, but society as a whole.
