From the first sketches of the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza project, the RC Celta acquired a firm commitment to the care of the environment and respect for the coexistence between an initiative of great economic and social significance and the entities and institutions of the environment. The club, with the aim of rigorously fulfilling the acquired commitments and at the same time guaranteeing the development of an extremely beneficial project for the Metropolitan Area of Vigo, has closed in the last hours an agreement with individuals of Tameiga, among them numerous community members, for the acquisition of more than 30,000 square meters of land in this parish of Mos, besides having another 20,000 square meters more in the pipeline.
This agreement sets in motion a purchase process that will continue in the next weeks and will allow that, by means of exchange, the Community of Mounts of Tameiga sees fully fulfilled its great claim: not to lose a single meter of mount. The RC Celta is already on the way to guarantee the fulfillment of this demand and to exchange with the communal entity the necessary lands for the complete development of the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza and the most important project in the history of the club, Galicia Sport 360, without the Community of Montes de Tameiga losing a single square meter of land.
The agreement with individuals from Tameiga for the acquisition of the land, bordering those of the Community of Montes, meant for the club an enormous effort and hard work for many months, which will be rewarded when this process is completed with the development of the next phases of Afouteza and Galicia Sports 360, key projects for the future of the club and of enormous impact not only for the Metropolitan area, but also for Galicia.
