Teresa Portela, Ana Peleteiro and Nico Rodríguez, self-confessed celtistas and medalists in the Olympics, received a well-deserved tribute in the run-up to the first match of the season against Atlético at Abanca Balaídos.
President Carlos Mouriño received the athletes on the stadium’s pitch, when the fans gave an incredible ovation, full of feeling, to the three Olympians. Portela, Peleteiro and Rodríguez posed with the Celtic president with the new official RC Celta jersey, personalized with the name of each of them for this special occasion. In addition, Teresa Portela was in charge of the kick-off in front of the proud look of the celtismo.
