Jørgen Strand Larsen has been awarded the Estrella Galicia Prize for Best Player of the Month for November, thanks to the majority support of the Celeste fans after a final voting phase in which he surpassed Iago Aspas and Carl Starfelt.
The outstanding performance of the Norwegian throughout the 238 minutes he played in November, along with his goal against Athletic Club de Bilbao, have been decisive for Larsen to win his third consecutive Estrella Galicia Prize of the season.
The forward wanted to thank “my teammates and everyone who voted for me.” Larsen is happy and proud to win this award for another month but is aware that “the points are more important than the prize, but it is very important for my confidence.” He also adds that “now the team is working very well” and they hope to continue this way at the start of the year; “in 2024 I want to win many more matches, that’s all I want,” concluded the Celeste number 18.
