LaLiga, in collaboration with LaLiga Santander clubs and LaLiga SmartBank, joins the fundraising to support the Spanish Emergency Committee activated due to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria in the Every Minute Counts. campaign.
To support this cause, LaLiga puts at the service of the campaign all its communication tools and notoriety both during the broadcasting of the matches and through its communication supports and social networks with the aim of maximizing the reach of this solidarity initiative.
Thus, from match day 21 of LaLiga Santander and 27 of LaLiga SmartBank, visibility will be given to the campaign by encouraging fans to donate to the cause.
LaLiga and the RFEF have agreed that a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the catastrophe will be observed during the matches of the day. In addition, the starting teams will pose with a toblerone in support of the cause and the speakers on the different fields and video scoreboards will remind fans of the existence of this campaign and encourage them to join in. The TV U will also display messages of encouragement, which can also be seen on the television signals of Spanish broadcasters. And the Fan Cam of the different changes will be enabled for those players who wish to celebrate by sending their support to the victims of the earthquake and their families.
In addition, with the intention of making the campaign as extensive as possible, LaLiga will work on this project with other institutions and organizations such as the LNFS, the ASOBAL league or Aficiones Unidas.
LaLiga thus becomes a loudspeaker for the initiative, to maximize it and raise awareness among fans, also through the clubs, which will do the same on their social channels and through their players.
