The midfielder, Lara Martínez Velázquez (27 December 2000), becomes the new player of As Celtas.
Born in Vigo, Lara arrives to RC Celta after an outstanding career in different teams such as Atlántida Matamá, Viajes Interrías, PM Friol, Real Unión de Tenerife or S.E.A.AEM of Lleida.
Throughout her career, Lara has proven to be a very talented player. She has won the Deputación de Pontevedra Cup and the Vigo Cup. In addition, she was part of the Atlántida Matamá team that achieved promotion to Reto Iberdrola in the 2018/19 season.
Her quality as a footballer has been recognised on different occasions, being named best player of the Vigocup in the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons and best Galician left midfielder in the 2018/19 season. In addition, in 2016 she was called up by the Galician senior national team.
