María Figueroa Rodríguez (13 September 2002) becomes the sixth confirmed player of As Celtas. The 21 year old defender comes from Viajes Interrías where she played the 23/24 season.
Native of Redondela, she began her career with only 3 years old in Grupo Casa Paco 81. That would be the beginning of an extensive career in which she has played in different teams like CD Choco until cadets, Atlántida de Matamá during the season 18/19, Viajes Interrías in 19/20, Deportivo Abanca in 20/21 and 21/22, Sárdoma CF in the season 22/23 and, finally, she returned to Viajes Interrías last year.
María has an important trajectory in professional football, making her debut in the First Women’s Division with Deportivo in the 2020/21 season and playing the Copa de la Reina with Viajes Interrías last season.
