The sky-blue youth player Brais Mendez experienced on Friday one of the most emotional moments of recent weeks, in which he has not stopped succeeding on the pitch. The Galician footballer received a surprise tribute from the neighbors of Mos, his birthplace, where he went this Friday without knowing that he would be the main character of the act.
The Multiusos das Pozas was full of people, among them 450 students of the IES of Mos, to dedicate a resounding ovation to the first Mosense that reaches the Spanish National Team. The young midfielder received with enthusiasm this recognition and for a few minutes answered questions from the audience.
In the event it was announced that the local administration will grant Brais Méndez the Medal to the Sporting Merit of the Council of Mos 2019 as recognition to the outstanding footballing career achieved by the youth player of RC Celta recently.
