RC Celta did it again. On the last day of LALIGA EA SPORTS, with a victory of Afouteza and Corazón against Getafe at the Coliseum, the team sealed its ticket to the Europa League. And as history would have it, RC Celta fans gathered at the source of happiness, Plaza América.
Saturday night was a celestial tide. Thousands of Celtistas turned out in a spontaneous celebration after the final whistle. Some even welcomed the team at the airport, proving once again that the sky-blue feeling has no timetable.
But the big moment came on Sunday. The city was dyed sky blue in a bus tour full of emotion, which started at Abanca Balaídos, stopped at the City Hall and parked at Plaza America. Plaza América was full to overflowing to celebrate this classification and the closing of a round season, especially because of the perfect communion with the Celtic fans.
The fans have far exceeded the club’s expectations, so RC Celta can only be grateful for the success of the event and the success of a campaign that now closes with honors.
