RC Celta’s administration and finance department obtains the ISO 9001 Certificate

RC Celta

RC Celta, an exemplary economic model in the Spanish league, is making progress in its objective to place  itself in the standards of excellence after obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate, granted by AENOR to the quality management of its department of administration and finances. This certificate means a new boost not only to the economic policy of the entity, completely sound and debt-free after a hard effort and rigorous prolonged work for many years, but to the club’s global approach to grow and improve in a relentless way in each of its areas

In this case, RC Celta is exemplary in Spanish football by implementing a quality management system in compliance with the ISO NORM 9001:2015 for activities: economic, administrative and financial management;  provision of administrative services, accounting, fiscal, treasury, internal control, and reports of the financial area both for internally for upper management and the different business areas of Real Club Celta, as well as for externally for other interest groups, both public and private bodies.

Furthermore, this achievement has the great added value that the work processes and quality management systems have been developed by the staff working in the club’s own department, a fact that guarantees the staff’s quality and its level of involvement.

Obtaining this certification is the culmination of a meritorious ten-year management process, with a very complicated economic starting point and an extreme situation, and which has been achieved by turning the club into a model of management and quality.
