The digital strategy of Real Club Celta continues to bear fruit. According to the report from the CIES Football Observatory, published this week, the Celta team is ranked 81st among football teams with the largest social media following, considering Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok platforms.
As of June 1, 2023, the report places the club at 5.2 million followers, although the current situation is even better, as RC Celta exceeds 7 million in its digital ecosystem.
The club’s strong position on the fastest-growing social network, TikTok, is especially noteworthy. In early June, we held the 31st position with 3.3 million followers, somewhat distant from the nearly 4 million followers we have today.
Furthermore, according to this report, only 14 of the 20 LaLiga Santander teams are among the 100 teams in the world with the most followers on their social networks. This is a cause for pride for RC Celta and a thank you to all who are part of our digital environment.
