Abanca Balaídos welcomed Celta fans on the morning of January 5th for a very special open training session, an event that brought the arrival of the Three Kings forward by a few hours.
From very early on, numerous families came to the stadium, eager to see the team up close, take a photo, or get an autograph from their favorite player. Coinciding with the Christmas holidays and following the victory against Valencia, the fans responded enthusiastically and accompanied Celta in a training session ahead of Monday’s match against Sevilla FC.
At eleven in the morning, the players took to the pitch on a chilly day, but were warmed by the enthusiasm of 6,511 fans, the largest attendance ever recorded for an open training session at Abanca Balaídos.
After the session, the players spent time with sky-blue fans, putting the finishing touch on a morning filled with excitement that, for many, was an early Three Kings’ Day gift.
