The club’s most exciting project of the current campaign is about to become a reality. This September, As Celtas make their debut in what will be their first official season. With the light blue shirt and their eyes set on the horizon, the new RC Celta players are preparing for the start of an exciting season, the beginning of a new chapter in the club’s history.
In training, which began at the end of last July at the A Madroa facilities, the team coached by Vicky Vázquez has been preparing intensely to face this new challenge for the club. With the aim of arriving in top condition for the start of the league, As Celtas have scheduled a series of training sessions in the form of open-door friendly matches that will serve as a pre-season training camp. The first of these will be on 10 August against Umia at A Madroa, followed by a date against Atlético Villalonga on 14 August at Villalonga, and finally, a third match against Vitoria Guimaraes on 18 August again at A Madroa.
But the best is yet to come. The first official match of As Celtas will be on the weekend of September 7, and although the Federation has not yet published the final schedule and it is unknown who will be the opponent, RC Celta is sure that the match will be a memorable event that will have the support of all the fans.
