In short RC Celta will move its headquarters to the heart of Vigo. The club’s main offices will share space with different amenities and services for fans in an emblematic building of the Rúa do Príncipe in a project destined to dynamize the center of the city and the day to day of the Celtismo and the sky-blue entity. Among the services offered by the new social headquarters are two hospitality proposals of great appeal: the Silabario restaurant and a sport gastrobar from the owners of the city’s famous La Pepita.
“For a person from like myself its a boost of energy to be able to cook at home and retake my project alongside Celta’s”. Alberto González, manager and chef of Silabario, retakes a project that was born in Tui and that held a Michelin star from 2012 to 2016, year in which the renowned restaurant closed in search of a new path that begins now from the hand of the Celta “It will be a continuation of the cuisine that we made before”, ensured Alberto González. Silabario stood out at the time for his cuisine “anchored to the Galician cookbook but with a signature cuisine”, a philosophy that will be maintained in this new stage in which the Vigo chef intends “to offer food in which everyone feels comfortable” and thought for “people to come back and repeat”
The second proposal of the Celta headquarters will be a Sport Gastrobar managed by the owners of la Pepita and A mordiscos , two of the most successful and popular restaurants in Vigo and in recent years. Managed by “people form Vigo and Celtistas” in the words of its manager Santiago Salgueiro, the Pepita takes a new path with the creation of a Gastrobar at the headquarters of RC Celta. “It will be open all day, with an offer starting in the mornings with different breakfasts, daily menus, menu, dishes to share… It will be something informal and modern” , explains Salgueiro.
The headquarters of the RC Celta, will become a new meeting point for Celtismo, and it will see the light in the first months of this year 2018.
