RC Celta is the first LaLiga club to be welcomed to ESPN’s headquarters, which has enjoyed the rights to broadcast LaLiga matches for the past two seasons. This opportunity to deepen its internationalization and brand expansion plan comes from the hand of LaLiga Impulso and LaLiga North America.
Some time ago, the club launched a project for the generation of weekly content in Spanish and English by Celta Media and LaLiga North Studios America for distribution in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Celta Media distributes its content on LaLiga’s social platforms, ‘talento americano’ and ESPN and Sky accounts, as well as on ESPN +, ESPN’s OTT platform.
RC Celta president Carlos Mouriño expressed his satisfaction for this historic visit and highlighted the magnitude and quality of the facilities at ESPN’s headquarters, underlining that the club is proud to collaborate closely with a firm of ESPN’s stature.
For his part, Tim Bunnel, also expressed his joy at receiving RC Celta, which, in his opinion, is working with success and enthusiasm to promote continued growth and noted that it is a club he knows and values.
