Goalkeeper Iván Villar will be Celta player until 2023 after extending his contract with Real Club Celta, which this way guarantees the continuation of one of its young academy assets. The Spanish national goalkeeper will play on loan in Levante until the end of season after reaching an agreement with the Valencia team, at the expenses of the relevant medical examination.
Iván Villar said he was happy with this extension which allows him to “stay at home” and expressed his gratitude to the club for the trust it has given him: “I hope I can give back to the team with sacrifice and performance”. He also stated that the loan is an important step for me to keep on growing and improving and to come back to be a Celta goalkeeper for many years”.
