Borja Iglesias returns home. The Panda returns to RC Celta, on loan from Real Betis to reinforce the Celta forward line. He returns, pending the usual medical tests, backed by a splendid career full of very significant figures. He left Vigo as the top scorer in the history of the Celta reserve team, with whom he scored 76 goals and where he forged the emblematic ‘Panda Team’.
He grew in the Second Division with 23 goals in one season and consolidated his position in the First Division with 56 goals, plus another 20 in different official competitions. His great performance also allowed him to become a full international with the Spanish national team. On the other hand, Borja arrives as the reigning champion of the German League, a title he won last season with Bayern Leverkusen.
The striker from Santiago de Compostela returns to RC Celta seven years later to join a team that is preparing with intensity, in a pre-season full of top level friendlies, a league opener with two consecutive matches at the Abanca Balaídos stadium. A start to LALIGA EA SPORTS 24/25 in which Borja Iglesias will once again wear the sky blue shirt.
