The good news doesn’t stop for Damián Rodríguez. The young home-grown player has been called up to join the Spanish U21 national team.
Damián will be under the orders of Santi Denia, national coach, to prepare for the match next Tuesday, 10 September at 17:45h. against Hungary at the Széktói Stadion. A match corresponding to the qualifying phase for the European Championship in Slovakia in 2025, in which the Spanish team leads Group B.
After the absence of Pablo Barrios, this call-up is a new recognition to the performance that the player has shown at the beginning of the season with RC Celta, as well as rewarding the effort, commitment and discipline with which he works every day.
The club wants to congratulate him and show its pride towards the young canterano who is a worthy representative of the sky-blue values with which he will now defend the colours all over the country.
