The imaging tests, MRI and ultrasound, performed by the medical services of the RC Celta to goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín, confirmed the total rupture of the left Achilles tendon of the goalkeeper, who was operated early this afternoon by the head of the club’s medical services, Juan José García Cota, at the Fremap Hospital in Vigo.
The operation was performed without complications, although Marchesín will be out for a long period of time, around 8 months. RC Celta would like to send a warm message of encouragement to the sky blue goalkeeper and wish him a full recovery.
