The SD Gernika Club will be RC Celta’s opponent in the second round of the Copa del Rey, which will take place on December 20, 21 or 22. A club that celebrates this 2022 its one hundred years of history in Group 2 of Segunda Federación, where it currently occupies the seventeenth position with nine points.
Gernika, coached by the legendary Aitor Larrazabal, qualified after eliminating CD Leganés in the penalty shootout in a round in which RC Celta solved their tie with a convincing triumph by 1-6 against CD Algar.
