RC Celta and its fans rescue a valuable point in stoppage time (3-3)

RC Celta

Sky blue ecstasy in Abanca Balaídos. The fans believed, the team believed, Celta believed. In a match that went uphill too soon with an early goal by Ansu Fati, shortly after the start of the match, and that got even more complicated with a 0-3 score at halftime, Eduardo Coudet’s team pulled out an epic to rescue a valuable point, always supported by a tenfold support.

The team came out for the second half like a whirlwind, determined to make up ground on the scoreboard. And they did just that. Iago Aspas, who has been getting better and better, started the equalizer in the 51st minute. The sky blue harassment of the rival area did not stop, but the deserved second goal did not seem to come.

With twenty minutes to go, Nolito managed to cut the gap with the 2-3 and put the whole Abanca Balaídos on its feet, who pushed the team until the final minute. Already in injury time, when the defeat seemed almost certain, Iago Aspas appeared again to draw the scoreboard in the last second of stoppage time.

An unforgettable afternoon of soccer and celtismo and another performance by Aspas to increase his legend.
