The Estrella Galicia Award for the best RC Celta player of October goes to midfielder Fran Beltrán, who won the majority of the sky blue fans’ votes. The midfielder beat Santi Mina and Dituro in the final phase to win this second Estrella Galicia award of the season.
The sky blue player offered an excellent performance in the matches against Elche, Sevilla, Getafe and Real Sociedad and received the support of the sky blue fans to win this player of the month award.
“I want to thank the fans, my teammates and Estrella Galicia for making this award possible. All players always try to do well and sometimes these rewards arrive”, commented Fran Beltrán, who indicated that “I have felt better, more confident and dynamic and as long as I continue to have opportunities I will try to keep improving”.
The sky blue midfielder recalled that “I already received a player of the month award the first year in the RC Celta and you know that it is a recognition that comes thanks to your teammates and also that you are doing things well and it is clear that this is the way forward”.
He acknowledged that these recognitions encourage him to “keep working, not to stay with what has been done but to try to keep improving. I am 22 years old and have a lot of room for improvement”.
