Claudio’s pupils managed to take the lead with two consecutive goals during the second half. The first goal was scored by Strand Larsen, and before Granada could react, Jonathan Bamba netted the second. Despite the setback, the Nazarí team did not give up and sought a comeback towards the end. In the 86th minute, Bruno Méndez reduced the deficit with a goal that revived the local hopes. The tension increased in the final minute when Granada had the opportunity to equalize with a penalty, which ended up flying over the crossbar.


With this triumph, RC Celta not only secures their stay in the top tier for the thirteenth consecutive season but also approaches the last matchday with the peace of mind of having achieved their objective.
