Midfielder Brais Méndez will be a sky blue player until 2024. The academy player from Mos, with one year left on his contract, sealed his renewal at A Sede together with president Carlos Mouriño.
Brais Méndez (Mos, 1997) made his debut in the official match with the first team on the 21st of September 2017 against Getafe. His first goal with RC Celta’s shirt would arrive on the 31st of March 2018 in San Mamés against Athletic Club.
The homegrown player, who is an absolute international with the Spanish national team, with whom he has even scored a goal, showed his deep joy after extending his bond with the club. “I always said this is my home, I’m very happy to be here,” said Mendez.
With this extension the RC Celta endorses once again its decided bet for the youth academy and for the introduction of players trained in A Madroa to the first team.
