Celta and Levante UD have reached an agreement for the loan of Hugo Sotelo, with an option to buy 50% of his rights, for the 2026/27 season. The midfielder will face a new challenge with the granotas under the guidance of Portuguese coach Luis Castro.
The A Canteira player, who made his first-team debut in the victory against FC Barcelona in the 2021/22 season, has worn the Celta crest in more than 80 matches across La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Europa League. Now, Hugo Sotelo will continue his footballing development at the Ciutat de València stadium, aiming to further his growth while upholding the values instilled at Celta’s youth academy, A Madroa.
