Hugo Sotelo takes the final step in a steady progression that began when he arrived at the RC Celta youth academy as a child. The 21 year old midfielder has already been signed with the first team and will wear the number 4 for the rest of the season.
The club shows in this way its confidence and support to the youngster who made his debut with the first team in the 20/21 campaign. This season he has already accumulated 823 minutes, spread over 16 games, in which he has scored his first goal for the first team. This magnificent performance has also led him to recently make his debut with the Spanish U-21 national team.
The definitive step to the first team of Hugo Sotelo, who just a few months ago renewed until 2028, endorses the firm commitment of RC Celta for its youth, whose development, enhancement and improvement is one of the priority objectives of the club chaired by Marián Mouriño.
