MARCA newspaper and LaLiga celebrated this Monday the MARCA 2018 Awards ceremony in which the individual awards of last season in First Division were delivered, among them the Zarra Trophy to the maximum Spanish scorer of the championship.
With twenty-two goals scored in La Liga 17/18, Iago Aspas has been the footballer who has deserved this recognition and, although he could not be in the award ceremony because of his appointment with the Spanish National Team, he sent a recorded message from A Madroa: “Thanks to my teammates and to RC Celta for helping me get the Zarra for the second consecutive year. I will continue fighting to try to catch Messi”.
