Midfielders Fran Beltrán and Stanislav Lobotka are already preparing the next match against Granada (Sunday, 16:00, Abanca Balaídos) under the orders of Fran Escribá. The two footballers returned this Wednesday to training at A Madroa after completing their international commitments.
Beltrán started on Tuesday with the Spanish National Team in the 2-0 victory against Montenegro, completing 74 minutes on the pitch. He also participated in the 0-1 victory against Kazakhstan last Friday, a game in which he played the last 18 minutes. Both matches were qualifiers for the next U-21 European Championship.
For his part, Lobotka completed the two matches played by Slovakia in this pause of national teams. The Slovakian team was thrashed by Croatia (0-4) and made up for it with a win over Hungary (1-2), a clash in which the Celta midfielder gave an assist on his team’s second goal. Both matches were eligible for qualification for the 2020 European Championship.
The last sky blue international to return to Vigo will be Néstor Araujo. The defender did not participate in the Mexican victory against USA (0-3) and played 90 minutes in the friendly against Argentina, a game in which Mexico suffered a 4-0 defeat.
