Joseph Aidoo rises to recognition as the best player of the month of April in RC Celta, thus obtaining his first award of the current season. The central defender has been awarded the prestigious Estrella Galicia Prize after demonstrating exceptional performance on the pitch.
During the month of April, Aidoo was instrumental in the team’s victory over Elche CF at Abanca Balaídos, where he scored the decisive goal. Moreover, he played the full ninety minutes in five out of the six matches in which he participated.
Upon receiving this award, Aidoo expressed his gratitude towards Estrella Galicia and the RC Celta fans. In his own words, he commented: “I am very happy because this is a very important trophy for me. It gives me a lot of confidence. This season I have been aware that my teammates help me to improve. I am happy for my team and for the fans”. The defender emphasized the crucial role of his teammates in his growth as a player.
