Matías Vecino suffers a myofascial fibrillar rupture in the soleus of his left leg, as confirmed by an MRI scan performed this morning at Ribera Povisa Hospital.
The sky-blue midfielder had to be substituted after feeling discomfort in the final minutes of the Europa League round of 16 second leg against Olympique Lyon, played yesterday at Groupama Stadium.
As part of his recovery, Matías will undergo physical therapy and is expected to be out for 2 to 3 weeks.
