RC Celta manager Miguel Cardoso showed his disappointment after the team’s defeat against Real Sociedad (2-1) in Anoeta. The Portuguese coach stressed the need to “find the things we did wrong and improve them”. Cardoso pointed out that some errors in the ball exit made them lose out against the team from San Sebastian. “There were times when we didn’t find the open man,” he said at the post-match press conference.
Striker Iago Aspas regretted the bad state of Anoeta’s turf, which played a trick on him in the first half when he was about to score a goal, and praised the team’s effort in the second half. “We tried to push until the end and it could not be,” said the home-grown player.
