Celta’s 26/27 preseason kicks off with two pieces of good news. Miguel Román has been cleared to return to action and is now ready to rejoin the first team.
The midfielder from Gondomar suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot last March following an incident during training. After several months of rehabilitation, during which he was unable to play in the final stretch of last season, Miguel has now received the green light from Celta’s medical staff and is eagerly looking forward to the start of a new preseason.
There is also good news regarding Pablo Durán’s progress. The forward continues to make positive strides in his recovery following surgery to correct instability in his left shoulder, an injury that caused him discomfort throughout last season. His rehabilitation process is ongoing, with an estimated three-month recovery period following his surgery, so Pablo will continue with individual training.
