RC Celta has gained good decision-making, quality, physical game and powerful heading in its midfield after signing Turkish midfielder Okay Yokuslu, a 24 year-old player who has played for his country’s national squad. He has passed the physical examinations and has signed for five seasons.
Coming from Trabzonspor, for which he played 56 matches and has scored 8 goals in two seasons, Okay Yokuslu is known for having great physical presence on the defensive end, a powerful header game and good ball-handling skills.
The midfielder has been part of all Turkey’s national youth squads and has played 14 matches with his national squad. Despite his youth, he was team captain at Trabzonspor, club in which he played a leading role. The player had several offers from other teams from Europe’s mayor leagues and he finally chose Celta.
Yokuslu is Celta’s third signing for the 2018/2019 season after signing left defensive wing-back David Juncá and central defender Néstor Araujo.
