RC Celta has signed Argentine striker Facundo Ferreyra, a proven goal scorer who has an EU passport. The new Celta striker signs until the end of the season.
Facundo Ferreyra (Lomas de Zamora, 1991), is an outstanding striker known for his ability to shoot and his good header skills. A tireless worker, he will also help the team in recovering the ball when pressing after a losing possession.
The new RC Celta striker began his career in Banfield and Velez, where he stood out as one of the best players in the Argentine league. His goal-scoring numbers took him to Shakhtar Donetsk, where he confirmed himself as one of the best strikers in European soccer with sixty goals scored. In the last two years he accumulated experience in Benfica and RCD Espanyol.
Facundo Ferreyra will immediately be put under the orders of Eduardo Coudet and will join the training sessions with the rest of his teammates.
