RC Celta got a well-deserved draw against Atlético de Madrid (0-0) in the Metropolitano in a game in which the Fran Escribá team showed its courage to endure the local attacks.
The first half was marked by equality. The sky-blue team took control of the ball while the red-and-white team created danger from a set-piece. In fact, Ruben Blanco had to intervene successfully in several plays to thwart local chances.
The second half continued with the same dynamic. The locals pressed even tighter but Ruben was very confident and effective in keeping the goal zero. The sky-blue had several dangerous cons to take the three points, although the game ended in a draw.
