- The RC Celta first team begins their 2025/26 pre-season this week. Over the next three days — July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd — the players will undergo the necessary medical tests at the RC Celta Clinic at A Sede, as a preliminary step before resuming work on the pitch. Following this, the first training session will take place on Friday, July 4th at 10:30 a.m. at Cidade Deportiva Afouteza.
The players called up for the start of pre-season are: Iván Villar, Coke Carrillo, Marc Vidal, Carl Starfelt, Hugo Sotelo, Sergio Carreira, Ilaix Moriba, Fran Beltrán, Iago Aspas, Franco Cervi, Pablo Durán, Williot Swedberg, Marcos Alonso, Mihailo Ristic, Hugo Álvarez, Carlos Domínguez, Damián Rodríguez, Yoel Lago, Javi Rodríguez, Jones El-Abdellaoui, Manu Fernández, and Miguel Román.
Joining them will be the new signings: Andrei Radu and Ferran Jutglà; as well as the players returning from loan: Javi Rueda, Unai Núñez, Carlos Dotor, Joseph Aidoo, Carles Pérez, and Manu Sánchez.
International defender Óscar Mingueza, who recently featured in the UEFA Nations League final, will join the group in the coming days.
With this, RC Celta officially kicks off what promises to be an exciting season, starting with a pre-season that already includes the following confirmed matches:
