RC Celta beat Elche convincingly (3-1) in a game they dominated from start to finish and in which Santi Mina scored twice and Brais Méndez scored once. Eduardo Coudet’s team boosts itself in the standings with this win.
The first half was characterized by the intensity of both teams, which showed a suffocating pressure. Little by little, the sky-blue players took control of the ball and had the most dangerous chances. Two brilliant assists from Nolito on the verge of the break allowed Santi Mina and Brais Méndez to score the first two goals of the match.
The second half started with a goal from Elche that did not change the dynamics of the match as RC Celta continued to be superior. A great cross from Augusto was finished off by Santi Mina in what was the sentence of the match with twenty minutes to go.
