RC Celta gave a goal bath against Vizela in their second match of the preseason (4-0). The Greek striker, Tasos Douvikas, gave Celta the lead in the first minute of the match, taking advantage of a cross from Damián Rodríguez. This would be the first of three goals, a hat-trick, that Douvikas would score in the first half of the match. The second goal came in the 20 minute, taking advantage of a mistake in the Vizela’s ball exit, and, in the 38 minute, with the counter-attack of the celta team, the third goal arrived after a pass from Óscar Mingueza. Claudio Giráldez’s men went into the break with a big advantage on the scoreboard and having conceded very few chances to the Portuguese team.
In the second half, and with a completely changed eleven, the sensations continued to be positive, and our team continued to put the Portuguese goalkeeper, Bursac, in serious trouble. In the 59 minute, Pablo Durán scored another goal in the top corner after an assist from Williot Swedberg.
A second friendly full of goals, in which the team not only left a good feeling, but also debuted what will be their first kit for the 24/25 season in front of the people who occupied the stands of the Municipal Stadium of A Lomba.
The next match will be against Sporting de Gijón, on Tuesday at 12:00, at the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza, which will help Claudio Giráldez to continue building the team for the next season.
