Second consecutive victory of RC Celta in the preseason against Real Sporting. A match, under the intense heat that ravaged the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza, which was the third test that Claudio Giráldez’s team faced in the way of preparation for next season.
The Asturian side took the lead with a goal from Caicedo in the eighth minute, but on the half-hour mark, an unstoppable Tasos Douvikas received a ball from Williot and sent it into the back of the net. In the second half, without too many chances for both teams, Cervi Franco managed to put the balance on the balance by adding another goal to the scoreboard after an assist from Iago Aspas.
