RC Celta obtained a very important victory against Sevilla FC (1-0) thanks to a goal by Okay Yokuslu. Miguel Cardoso’s team played remarkably well on defense and took advantage of one of the few chances given by the Andalusians to keep the three points in ABANCA Balaídos.
The first half was noted for the evenness between both teams. RC Celta and Sevilla FC had patience to trace their attacking moves. The sky-blue had their most dangerous shot in Boufal’s boots, while the Andalusians approached Ruben’s goal in several counter-attacks.
The second half continued with the same dynamic. The visitors had two clear chances that Ben Yedder could not convert and it was Okay Yokuslu who opened the scoreboard after 70 minutes from a corner kick. The sky-blues used sacrifice in the last minutes to ensure victory.
