RC Celta achieved a vital victory against Real Sociedad (0-1) that allows them to move up in the standings. Oscar Garcia’s side played a very serious game and beat the San Sebastian team thanks to a penalty converted by Iago Aspas.
In the first half there were hardly any chances to score and most of the play took place in the midfield. The sky-blue players gradually took control of the ball and in the final stretch Iago Aspas invented a penalty that he converted into a goal.
In the second half the local team stretched their lines and got closer to Rubén Blanco’s goal, who stopped the chances generated by the Basque team in an impeccable way. The sky-blue players knew how to suffer in the final stretch and got three very important points.
